My ethos

At The Release Room, you are welcomed exactly as you are.

This is a space to put down what has become too heavy. The beliefs, behaviours, emotional responses and expectations that may once have protected you, but now keep you stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.

We are all shaped by what we have lived through. Childhood, family dynamics, relationships, loss, pressure and the roles we have learned to play can continue to influence the way we think, feel and respond long after the original experience has passed.

Your story is not something to dismiss, minimise or push past.

I take the time to understand what sits at the core of what you are experiencing, change what is no longer helping you and create a way forward that feels more honest, steady and your own.

I use clinical hypnotherapy alongside psychotherapy, NLP, EFT, coaching and intuitive guidance. Each session is shaped around you, your history and what you need.

The Release Room is a place to release what you no longer want to carry, reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity, confidence and freedom.

Vision

To help people release what weighs them down, reclaim their sense of self and restore the parts of them that have been buried beneath fear, conditioning and experience.

Values

The Release Room is built on the belief that people are not broken and that we all have the inherent ability to heal ourselves.

Beneath the beliefs, coping mechanisms and expectations we accumulate through life, there is still a clear and instinctive part of us that knows who we are and what we need.

My values sit under three words. Release. Reclaim. Restore.

Empowerment

You should need me less over time. The aim is that you understand yourself well enough to make your own choices without fear or old conditioning running the show.

Through hypnotherapy and subconscious work, I support you to reclaim your agency, confidence and capacity to create change in your own life.

Compassion

Say it as horribly as you need to. There is nothing you can tell me in that room that I will judge you for.

I meet you with warmth and respect for what you have lived through, and there is no pressure to move faster than your mind or body is ready for.

Individuality

No two people arrive here with the same story.

Your experiences, beliefs, emotional responses and needs are your own, which means your sessions should be as well.

Sessions are tailored to the person in front of me, rather than forcing people through a standard process or treating everyone as though they need the same thing.

Relationships

The way we relate to ourselves shapes the way we relate to everyone else.

Our experiences influence what we tolerate, how we communicate, where we abandon ourselves and whether we feel safe enough to be seen. They also shape our sense of belonging, safety and identity.

By understanding where these responses come from, you can strengthen your boundaries and build relationships with greater honesty, respect and emotional clarity.
