The Release Room

By booking an appointment with The Release Room, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. Nature of Services

The Release Room provides clinical hypnotherapy and complementary therapeutic services intended to support emotional wellbeing, stress reduction, behavioural change and personal development.

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological diagnosis or treatment. Clients are encouraged to continue working with their GP or relevant health professionals as required.

  1. Suitability and scope

Hypnotherapy may not be suitable for everyone. If you have a diagnosed psychiatric condition (including but not limited to psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or dissociative disorders), or are currently under acute mental health care, please contact us prior to booking to discuss suitability.

For clients under 18 years of age, parent or guardian consent is required.

  1. No Guarantees

While hypnotherapy can be highly effective, results vary between individuals. No specific outcomes can be guaranteed.

  1. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential and handled in accordance with Australian privacy legislation.

Confidentiality may only be broken where required by law, including situations involving:

  • Risk of harm to yourself or others.
  • Mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Court orders or subpoenas.
  1. Appointments, Cancellations & Late Arrivals
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
  • The deposit is non-refundable in the event of:
    • Failure to attend (no-show), or
    • Cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling made more than 24 hours prior to the appointment may have the deposit transferred to a future booking.
  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full session fee still payable.
  1. Fees and payments
  • All fees are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).
  • The remaining balance (if applicable) is payable prior to or at the time of your appointment.
  • Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the session.
  1. Client responsibility

You acknowledge that outcomes depend on your active participation and engagement. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and is most effective when clients are open, committed and willing to apply insights between sessions.
